Reidun's Music

Like most classically trained pianists, Reidun Askeland plays a wide selection of the repertoire from the 17th century to the present day. Apart from being a soloist, she accompanies singers, and also plays chamber music – primarily with string players.

In recent years, she has narrated her own recitals, and developed a style that brings her in close contact with the audience. She creates programs of  contrasts – often exploring the dynamic between works of the great masters and music by contemporary composers.
